NPR's News Blog

NPR's News Blog "The Two-Way" offers Breaking News and Analysis in a blogroll format.

I like this blog for a few different reasons. First of all, I am interested in the content. Breaking News that comes up in the mainstream media and at NPR is blogged about on this blog with analytical authority. From text to pictures and video clips, this blog is up to date with content capabilities and gives its readers many options of how they would like to receive information.

Another thing I like about this blog is that not all of the content is coming from the same writer. This gives the blog a little more personality, and gives the reader a good bit of variety when reading the analysis of news articles posted.

The set up of the Blog is good because it uses all of the space on the page adequately, without loaning big areas of space to ad companies. This helps the reader to stay focused on the content, which the writers and the station actually believe is important, and they don't have to censor themselves according to corporate sponsors.

It also allows comments, which allows for a space for conversation to unravel, which I think is very important in a blog.

Overall, I would give this blog an A+ for content, structure and capabilities.
